International Scholarships, Goldsmiths, University of London

Funding information for international postgraduate students starting in 2009
Goldsmiths is committed to supporting postgraduate students and has a range of scholarship schemes available for international postgraduate students.

Goldsmiths international postgraduate scholarships
There are up to 16 competitive awards which act as
a partial fee waiver of £1500 to an international student applying to study for a full-time taught postgraduate programme.

To be eligible to apply you must have an offer of a place on a full-time postgraduate taught degree, have an international fee liability and are self-financing to some extent. You will also need to demonstrate academic excellence and / or significant achievement in your chosen field of study.

Goldsmiths International country specific postgraduate scholarships

There are up to 5 awards that act as partial fee waiver of £1000 to an international student studying a full-time taught postgraduate programme. Students must be domiciled in Chile, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Pakistan or Russia.

To be eligible to apply you must hold an offer of a place on a full-time postgraduate degree; have an international fee liability, be self-financing to some extent, and you must be domiciled in one of the countries stated above. You will also need to demonstrate academic excellence and / or significant achievement in your chose field of study.

Qualifying Details
All PGCE students formally enrolled at the beginning of the academic year are eligible to apply for this competitive scholarship of £1000. This sum, tax free, will go directly to successful candidates to assist in costs incurred during their year of study. These scholarships are discretionary and therefore are awarded based upon the judgments of the School of Education on the merits of each applicant.
This award is applicable to all countries

Early application will help you meet any deadlines for degree programmes, accommodation and for any funding or scholarship applications you might be eligible for. 2009 Master Scholarships University of Glasgow : Masters/PgDip Scholarships for 2009-1010

Centre for Russian, Central and East European Studies (CRCEES)

A consortium of the Universities of Glasgow, Nottingham, St Andrews, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Strathclyde, and the West of Scotland

Suitably qualified applicants from any branch of the Social Sciences and Humanities are invited to apply for Masters studentships and Postgraduate language diplomas for study in the 2009-10 academic year.


Applications are invited for the one-year MSc in Russian and East European Studies, University of Glasgow and for intensive one-year Postgraduate diplomas (PgDip) in Russian, Polish, Czech Serbian/Croatian and Slovene language.

Applications should send a covering letter, CV and two references to Ann Mulholland, CRCEES Administrator at the address below by 27th February 2009.
